To all our STUDIO H guests,
We have missed you, and we hope that you and your families are staying safe and healthy. We are happy to announce we opened last Friday softly and are grateful for all your kindness & patience as we now go forward in the safest way we can.
We have been working hard to plan and prepare for reopening, and the health, safety and well-being of our team and guests is, as always, our top priority. We have closely followed the new protocols and policies set out by the Allied Beauty Association, L’Oreal Professionnel and various public health agencies to take these priorities into account while continuing to deliver exceptional service and results, and we appreciate your understanding that plans and timelines may change as new information becomes available.
New policies are in place. Here are some of the changes you can expect at STUDIO H.
Cleaning and Sterilization
As a hair salon and spa, we have always adhered to strict public health standards and protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment. These will continue with increased frequency and will include:
- Disinfection of treatment rooms, hair stations, common areas, and high-touch surfaces multiple times daily and after each guest visit with hospital grade disinfectant.
- The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including gloves, masks, clothing dedicated to wear in the salon environment only and face shields where necessary.
- #greencirclesalon – You can place your recycling in our new self-serve area and we will credit your next purchase.
- Elimination of unnecessary touch-points including testers, magazines, candies and beverage service. Retail products will still be available to purchase but are only to be accessed by team STUDIO H and packaged for you. We now offer you tap payments.
We will be introducing physical distancing measures that limit the number of guests in the salon at a given time, and careful management of traffic flow will be in place when we reopen to ensure a safe experience for all. As such, our studio hours will be extending and changing and we can not guarantee that your regular service provider will be available on the same schedule as previously.
All guests will be carefully pre-screened and required to complete a COVID-19 health questionnaire prior to scheduling their appointment and on arrival (with a mask please). Masks are for sale at $2.00 each. All our team will be screened daily and will be required to wear PPE for all services.
We have now begun rescheduling guests, with priority given to those whose appointments were quickly cancelled during our closure. Appointments will be scheduled in a manner that allows us to adhere to public health guidelines, physical distancing and increased sterilization measures which may reduce appointment availability. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Walk-ins and Extra Guests
For everyone’s safety, appointments must be scheduled ahead of time either by phone, online, or text. We would ask that you come to your appointment alone unless you need assistance or a guardian to come to your appointment. We would also ask that once the guest has been situated for their appointment that their assistant or guardian please wait outside if we have reached maximum capacity, in order to adhere to the strict social distancing provincial guidelines. For those without appointments, retail products are still available to purchase in-store, online or by phone. Purchases can be picked up in-store or delivered to your home address.
